ENGINEERING CONTEXT
Application requirements and recommended enclosure scope
Apartment units, villas, residential towers and refurbishment projects where final-circuit protection and communication services must fit defined wall and interior conditions.
Application challenges to resolve first
- Coordinating flush-mounted box depth with wall construction and finished surfaces.
- Allowing safe circuit identification, device access and future spare ways without oversizing the opening.
- Separating power distribution from multimedia, optical fibre and weak-current services where required.
- Keeping door direction, trim, colour and visible finish consistent across repeated units.
Recommended enclosure scope
Final distribution
Flush- or surface-mounted distribution boxes reviewed against the circuit schedule, modular device width, neutral and earth terminals, incoming cable and spare capacity.
Residential communication
Multimedia and FTTH boxes arranged for optical access, router space, data, television and telephone modules with practical cable routing.
Installation interface
Wall opening, fixing points, door clearance, conduit entries and trim dimensions confirmed before repetitive supply.
Information required for engineering review
Send the floor or unit type, single-line diagram, number of ways, device arrangement, box depth, flush or surface mounting, wall construction, cable-entry direction, quantity per type and required finish.
Approval and delivery basis
LYE can organize unit-type schedules, approved drawings or samples, model labels and packing by building, floor or apartment reference when these requirements are agreed before production.
Common project questions
Should spare ways be included?
Spare capacity should follow the consultant or local project requirement and the expected future loads. It must be allowed for in both the enclosure size and terminal arrangement.
Can the visible frame and door be customized?
Colour, logo, label and door details can be reviewed, but the finish reference and approval sample should be fixed before batch production.
